Spatial computing is the umbrella for devices and software that map the room, know where you and your hands are, and place digital content into real space — headsets, AR glasses, and the interfaces that live in them. It asks designers to think in metres and eye-lines rather than pixels, and to design objects that behave as if they were really there.
